At 23 years old, Jennifer Lawrence has already done what many aspire to do – have a successful film career, with several blockbusters under her belt, win an Academy Award, and even be named one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People 2013.
But besides all that, Jennifer Lawrence is one young lady to watch, and not only on the silver screen as The Hunger Games: Catching Fire continues to top the box office.
Appearing bare-faced with minimal make-up in the latest Dior campaign in their fall-winter 2013 issue, Jennifer looks relaxed, yet compelling. In an age where many young ladies feel the need to conform to media pressure of appearing flawless, Jennifer shows us what true confidence is.
Going with minimal make-up is not the only reason why Jennifer Lawrence is one amazing young lady. Her take on dieting is also commendable. Jennifer reported refuses to diet, despite being being told that “she was fat, and that she was going to get fired if she didn’t lose a certain amount of weight.”
“I’m just so sick of these young girls with diets,” she says. “I think it’s really important for girls to have people to look up to and feel good about themselves.” Again, in an age when many young girls have a distorted view of themselves, and try to starve themselves to look a certain way, Jennifer is a role model young ladies of today should look up to.
Ok fine, I agree Jennifer is blessed with great genes compared which gave her great facial features, great skin, and a slender figure, but confidence is something which genes cannot give you, and comes with maturity and a positive outlook in life.
