Michelle Pfeiffer, one of the most beautiful and acclaimed actresses in Tinseltown, tells ELLE magazine in its latest issue that she is “all for a little something here and there” when asked about her views on plastic surgery.
“It doesn’t matter to me if people have plastic surgery or they don’t, or if they do Botox“.
However, the 53 year old actress is against plastic surgery which has gone too far: “But when people don’t look like themselves anymore, that’s when you kind of go, ‘Oooh,’, and it’s kinda of sad. Its uncomfortable for us, but it they’re happy with what they see in the mirror, does it matter?”
Although cosmetic procedures are extremely common in Hollywood, talking about them or admitting that to have done them is, for some reason, taboo. Michelle’s Pfeiffer’s candid views on plastic surgery has gotten many wondering if she has had any work done herself to maintain her timeless beauty.
While the article in ELLE did not confirm or deny if Pfeiffer has had any cosmetic procedures, she definitely has won me over by speaking about a topic which many celebrities will not touch with a 10-foot stick. There is no shame in seeking cosmetic enhancements to maintain one’s youthfulness, especially in an industry where looks DO matter. The real shame and embarrassment come when stars insist that they are have had no cosmetic help when it is obvious to the world they have had some Botox or a nip and a tuck somewhere.
