 A’kin, from Australia, prides itself as being pure, authentic and beautifully aromatic skincare, crafted without parabens, suflfates, articificial colours or fragrance.

It tells us that: “Enriched with botanical extracts, A’kin skin care is designed to nourish and enhance the appearance of your skin, just as nature intended”.

The Claims: A’kin Calming Day and Night Cream

“Gently nourish and soothe sensitive skin with this fragrance free moisturiser, infused with Chamoline Shea Butter and Vitamin E for long lasting hyddration, leaving even the most delicate skin feeling comforted and soft.”

Packaging/Texture/ Scent:   : A’kin Calming Day and Night Cream

Comes in a round dark glass container with screw on plastic lid and recyclable paper packaging.

Ivory coloured light weight cream has a very faint chamomile and shea butter scent.   The cream glides onto the skin easily and leaves a thin film that does not feel too sticky.

Ingredients/ Efficacy: A’kin Calming Day and Night Cream

Natural hydrating indregients such as Sqalane, Avocado oil, Olive oil, and Shea butter will help keep skin hydrated, while delivering anti-oxidant protection.

Anti-oxidants, such as panthenol, Vitamin E are also included for extra protection.

All in all, this product will do what it is supposed to do – hydrate your skin.

 A’kin’s moisturizer is a good buy for for people with sensitive skin. It is lighteweight and rovides light hydration, but may not be moisturizing enough for very dry skin. It comes at a reasonable price too!

    I was wondering if you would consider reviewing Sisley products, particularly Sisley’s All Day All year anti-aging cream?
    I love the brand and it’s philosophy. It’s just very expensive, so I would really appreciate your opinion about whether this product does what it promises to do for my skin and whether the price is justified.
